Why a journal just for adoptees with ADHD?

Because this is a layered identity, and often a lonely one.

Many adoptees carry quiet but powerful questions about who they are, whether they belong, and how to make sense of themselves.

ADHD can intensify this. Racing thoughts. Emotional storms. Shame spirals. A relentless inner critic.

But when you have space to reflect, without judgement, things can start to shift.

That’s what my free journal offers. It isn’t about finding all the answers. It’s about being with your story in a kinder, more connected way.

You can download it here if you’d like to explore that for yourself:

“But I was adopted as a baby... it shouldn’t matter anymore, right?”

I hear this so often from women I work with, especially those who’ve been recently diagnosed with ADHD or who are beginning to suspect it.

What many don’t realise is that adoption can have a lasting, subtle impact. Especially when ADHD is also present.

Issues around identity, rejection sensitivity, and emotional regulation often run deeper than expected, and traditional ADHD resources don’t always speak to this layered experience.

That’s why I created a free reflective journal specifically for adoptees with ADHD.

It’s designed to be gentle. No pressure. Just space to explore the connections between your story and your struggles, and maybe even your strengths.

If this resonates with you or someone you know, you can download it here:
