Hooves for healing a small registered charity support service has been nurturing and growing over the past 6 years. Equine assisted learning (EAL) at our outdoor facility helps us tackle many issues clients are facing in present day life. EAL is a wholesome, coaching tool which is client led with pony and staff alongside. Learning about team work, communication skills, building confidence, trust, inclusion, and mindfulness. Hooves for Healing work with individuals and small select groups who face difficulties in life:
Mental health issues
Anxiety/Stress
Behavioural difficulties
Low self-esteem
Depression
Trauma. Long term (invisible) illnesses
We have clients from various walks of life, it is a wonderful feeling to watch them as they engage, become empowered developing new skills. We support social services, children in care, provide sessions to schools within the region. Equine Assisted Learning impacts and improves lives. We are currently looking for sponsorship and funding to enable those in need who can not fund themselves, however ,would benefit from our service.

I had an invitation to visit Goldstraw Farm in Ness, purchased by lovely friends who were also former clients here.
They have some great plans for their fabulous farm which overlooks the Dee estuary.
They have a couple of Topline Equine Academy horses grazing the land Kizzy and Cassius who look content in there new settings, its just wow!
It is wonderful to see new beginnings, enthusiasm with passion to make positive changes.
Hooves for Healing wish you well and if we can offer support and advice where we can, we will be only too happy. 🐎
Duncan too , i think he is blowing kisses, Murphy looking on, not one to be left out 🙂 🫏 x

Storm Amy left a bit of damage to the stable front, loosening roofing sheets off the shelter area.
A few soggy days , however today's sunshine made up for the wind and rain, all horses, ponies and Duncan the Donkey are fine, they got a little muddy, but survived .
Ellie was not impressed 😅🤣😂👅
