While it may sound simple enough, accepting help is something that is extremely challenging for all of us at one time or another. It can be especially hard for those of us who believe that seeking help undermines our independence and our ability to cope. This can include activities like meal preparation, laundry and housekeeping. Many family members find themselves assisting in ways they never expected, maybe with tasks like personal grooming and hygiene. Caring for a loved one can take its toll and can change family dynamics. In addition, providing care for a loved one can become highly stressful. Whether your family member lives next door or some miles away. Chiltern Home Care provides care services for families across the county just like yours, and we can help you too.
