☀️ Hot Weekend Alert! Is Your Skin Ready for the Sun? ☀️
The UK is about to enjoy a gorgeous, sunny weekend – but is your skin ready for it? 🌞 Before you step into the sun, take a few smart steps to protect and prepare your skin.

✅ What to do BEFORE sun exposure:
✨ Exfoliate gently – remove dead skin cells for an even tan (use 2–3 days before sun exposure).
💧 Hydrate – apply a rich moisturizer with hyaluronic acid or aloe vera.
🧴 Use a broad-spectrum SPF 30–50 – apply 20 minutes before going outside. Reapply every 2 hours!

🚫 Avoid before sun exposure:
❌ Strong acids (AHA/BHA), retinol, and skin peels – these can make your skin more sensitive to the sun.
❌ Heavy makeup or oil-based creams that might clog pores in the heat.

🌤️ After-sun care is just as important!
🧴 Use cooling after-sun products with aloe vera or panthenol.
🥒 Apply cold compresses or soothing masks to reduce redness.
💦 Drink plenty of water – hydration from the inside is key.
🌙 Apply a nourishing night cream to support skin regeneration overnight.
