Reel Recovery is now looking into widening the types of fishing available. currently we are talking to lake owners and angling manufacturers to hopefully make carp fishing a possability too, so watch this space.

Hello everyone,

As many of you will be aware ive not been running Reel Recovery for a few weeks now as ive been dealing with some personal difficulties.

However im pleased to announce i will be starting up again as of next sunday, 4th october a great date to celebrate the winter cod season arriving upon us. Ive been keeping a close eye on the local fishing reports and its fantastic to see some good size early cod arrive and in conjuction with the great news that North sea cod has been taken off the "Fish to avoid" list should see a great winter season for all.

Hope to see some of you at our new location on south beach behind the sealife centre.
6pm till 11pm.

Well once the rain dried up around 7.30 the wind dropped to nothing as per the weather forcast predicted, it went well quite, numourus good size whiting all above 30cm. Plenty of pups but very infantile the largest probably only reached 20cm and that genourous they went straight back in no time to measure.
We didnt fish through the night we finished about 1am though.
Good session glad i didnt cancel
