🥹💜 We need your help!

At Eversley Lodge, we are looking for donations that we can take to James Paget Hospital, Great Yarmouth in the lead up to Christmas.

This is essentially to give those individuals a little boost when they may be spending their Christmas in hospital. ☃️🥹

We are collecting toys/teddies/games that we can donate to the Children’s Ward.

As well as this, we are also collecting items to donate to the Older People's Medicine ward at James Paget Hospital. These items can be toiletries, nightwear, snacks etc...

We require donations to be dropped off to Eversley Lodge Nursing Home, North Denes Road, Great Yarmouth by 19th December!

We welcomed Ted the pet therapy dog to Eversley lodge 🐕

Ted went round to meet all our residents & he was welcomed with lots cuddles and happy smiles 😁 Ted in return lapped up all the fuss 🥰

Rosemary said "nan loves you" 🥹

Mel said that he looks like her dog Wilson!

Ted will be a familiar face around here & we can't wait to welcome him back 🐾

Lunch at Notcutts followed by a flapjack and latte! 😍

Jill and Josie bought Christmas presents for their families, Josie also treated herself to a new pair of pyjamas

Rosemary could not believe the price of a bird! (£35) 😂

We were also stopped by a couple who informed Sam and Demi that they were watching us during lunch time and credited us for the way we care for our ladies, they said we do a fantastic job 😊🥳

Our two residents Rosemary & Josie spent the morning arranging an assortment of flowers in to vases 💐

A few flowers from last week were still doing well so we sorted through them so we could them for longer.

This activity is great as engages our sense of smell & it brightens up our home.

Rosemary used to do flower arranging with her church so this brings back happy memories for her & always puts a smile of her face 🫶🏻

💗 A Moment of Thanks 💗

We wanted to take a moment to thank everyone for supporting our Wear it Pink Coffee Morning, we really enjoyed ourselves and even one of our residents (Rosemary) commented; “It was such a lovely lovely morning, everyone coming together, laughing, eating, it was a real lovely morning” we explained further to Rosemary what we had raised and she said it “was a great achievement all of that work is wonderful”

Today our residents enjoyed a 3 course Halloween themed lunch 🍽️

After lunch residents painted pumpkins, coloured in Halloween pictures & made spider & ghost decoration sticks 🖤🤍
