Delighted to be invited to share the celebrations as the James Paget Project exhibition, which we'd supported, was launched at Great Yarmouth Library tonight.

Local schools, organisations and businesses have all pulled together to produce an installation that tells the story (sometimes gory) of James Paget and Victorian .

Innovative techniques have been used to bring the famous Great Yarmouth surgeon's impact on Victorian Britain to life: 3D Printing, cunning engineering, electronics, animation. Traditional skills of carpentry, drawing, modelling and performance have also come into play.

Great Yarmouth Arts Festival project with schools to explore the life of renowned local surgeon James Paget and the contributions he made to medicine during the 19th century. With 3 local schools, Norfolk Museums Service, English Heritage and Norfolk Libraries and Information Service.

A big thank you to Caroline, Nicola, Pamela, Geoff and the team for making our such a pleasant and informative day out.

Do check out the new Beer - Broadland Breweries past & present Exhibition at the Museum which has been put together with the help of several local breweries ( Lacons Ales, Humpty Dumpty Brewery, Woodforde's Brewery and more) Cantley sugar processing plant and the team at the John Innes Centre.
