Our collaborative friends across the Pennines installed a Public Access Defibrillator (PAD) in their community, just 4 months ago.

It was activated, during an emergency a couple of days ago.

Well done to Jeffæs and the team at Spartan Associates Ltd for getting this installed and supporting their community!..

Almost 75% of Cardiac Arrests happen in the home. Having quick access to a Defibrillator can dramatically increase the chances of survival of a Cardiac Arrest. Therefore keeping your family member alive.

Public Access Defibrillators should be accessible within your community. However, there just aren't enough.

A shock from an AED needs to be delivered in the first few minutes to have the greatest outcomes.

The revised guidelines will reflect the latest evidence and best practice in resuscitation science across all age groups. They are designed not only to improve survival and outcomes following cardiac arrest, but also to enhance patient and family experiences through compassionate, person-centred care.
