‼️4 Exercises for Knee Pain‼️

1. Reverse Nordics: Reverse Nordics are great for targeting the quadriceps, which can help stabilise the knee joint and improve overall knee function. They’re often used to strengthen the muscles around the knee to prevent injury and alleviate knee pain. 🦵🏼

2. Bridging with Calf Raises: This exercise primarily targets the glutes, hamstrings, core and calf muscles. Strengthening these muscles can help improve knee stability and reduce strain on the knee joint during activities like walking, running, and jumping. 🚶🏼‍♀️🏃🏾👟

3. Slider Lunge Rotation: Slider lunge rotation engages the quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes, and core muscles. It helps improve hip mobility, balance, and coordination, which can indirectly benefit knee health by reducing stress on the knee joint during movement. If you don’t have slider you can use socks on the floor. 🧦

4. Reverse Lunge Rotation with Barbells: This exercise targets multiple muscle groups including the quadriceps, hamstrings, glutes, and core muscles. Adding resistance with barbells increases the challenge, helping to build strength and stability around the knee joint, which can aid in injury prevention and pain relief. 💪🏼

💪 Workout done? Recovery isn't optional — it's ESSENTIAL! 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

You crushed your run or smashed that workout 💥

But what you do after matters just as much as the sweat you put in.

✨ Why recovery is important:
• Helps muscles repair and grow
• Reduces soreness and injury risk
• Improves performance for your next session
• Keeps you moving pain-free 🧠➡️💥

🛠️ Simple ways to recover like a pro:
🧘‍♀️ Stretch it out – don't skip the cool down
💦 Hydrate – water = muscle fuel
🥗 Refuel – protein + carbs are your best friends
😴 Sleep – the ultimate recovery tool
🧊 Ice / heat / foam rolling – show those muscles some love
🚨 Ignoring recovery = higher chance of pain, tightness & injury
✅ Prioritising recovery = stronger, faster, happier movement
Your body works hard for you — take care of it!

Need help with recovery, soreness or injury prevention?
👋 That's where your physio comes in 😉
