The dry weather was a game-changer! 👏 We walked to three different parks today, including the battery park, sand parks. Shoveling sand might seem like simple play, but it's great for the kids. It helps them build muscles, learn how to coordinate their movements, and figure out how to fill and move the sand. Plus, it's just plain fun! 🤩 🏖️

We welcome more weather like this! 🫢

No slushes for us lot ❌

Hello Easter holidays! 🐣🌼

If you’re getting out and about with the kids, remember to keep an eye on what they’re drinking, especially brightly coloured slush ice drinks.

Some slushies contain glycerol (E422) to help keep that icy texture. Younger children can be more sensitive to it, so:
⚠️Under 7s should avoid slush drinks containing glycerol.
🥤Children 7–10 should have no more than one 350ml drink a day.

If you’re unsure whether a slush contains glycerol, ask the seller or check the label. When in doubt, choose something else.

Just wanted to send a massive thank you to Vicky from Mini First Aid for the amazing paediatric first aid course! It was super informative, professionally delivered, and has given me so much more confidence in handling emergencies with kids.

This also keeps me up to date with new regulations that had took place in Jan 2026. I would’ve never known about this, thats why it’s so important to keep your knowledge up-to-date and be professionally trained- Thank-you Thank-you Thank-you Vicky🌟

Highly recommend it to anyone looking to learn these vital skills! 🩹
