Moving On Inverclyde is a support service for people affected by their own or another’s problematic use of alcohol or drugs. We have been providing services in Inverclyde since 2002. We believe everyone has the potential to rebuild their lives and reshape their futures. We also understand those using our service may have other difficulties or situations requiring support besides their recovery. This is why we have a full and robust package of support available through our partnerships and collaborations with local services to empower and enable a successful recovery.

𝑻𝒓𝒖𝒆 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒔 𝒐𝒇 𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚:

Penny came to Moving On Inverclyde at a point where co***ne was impacting every area of her life. She lacked routine, confidence and structure, and struggled to attend appointments independently.

Penny is now in Phase 3 and has achieved three months free from co***ne use. She attends the service independently several times a week and has rebuilt positive family relationships! 💪🏻💚

Reflecting on her journey, she shared:
“I am so glad I stuck with Moving On. Before I came here I never even left the house on my own and now I come in several times a week. It has totally changed my life.”

Prince Edward’s visit to Moving On Inverclyde 🌱

Last Friday, we were honoured to welcome His Royal Highness Prince Edward to Battery Park, where he helped plant our Sycamore Gap Tree sapling, generously gifted by the National Trust

The afternoon continued at the Beacon Arts Centre celebrating this meaningful moment and proudly showcasing the strength, creativity, and heart of the Inverclyde community.
