I’d love to share something a little different today—something that truly touched my heart.
Last January, a wonderful lady came to me for help after experiencing something incredibly difficult. She had enjoyed a lovely holiday in Turkey, but just two days after returning home, she suddenly became very unwell.
Her daughter rushed her to hospital, where she was diagnosed with Legionnaires’ disease, double pneumonia, and sepsis. She became so poorly that she spent two weeks in intensive care, in an induced coma.
Thankfully, she made a remarkable recovery and was able to return home. But one of the side effects of her illness and treatment was devastating—her once long, blonde hair began falling out in clumps. Eventually, she had to cut it short and dye it darker to disguise the thinning patches.
When she came to see me, I suggested a course of iPRF therapy to help stimulate hair growth. To be honest, even I wasn’t sure we’d achieve the results she was hoping for, but she said this was her last hope as she had tried everything else! The treatment involves drawing blood, separating the plasma, and injecting the platelet-rich plasma into the scalp to help revive the follicles and encourage new growth.
Fast forward just 8 months—and the transformation has been incredible! Her hair is now thick, healthy, and growing beautifully.
Most importantly, she has regained her confidence and feels like herself again. ❤️
