It was a privilege this afternoon to be at Jason Rocks Funeral Services private chapel to help family and friends say goodbye in an intimate service, as they remembered a gentleman who served his country and his family. I conducted the service with Jason and team from Jason Rocks Funeral Services.

We have been asked by a family member could we do the Mariners theme for their loved one. We had the head end of the coffin engraved into the high gloss light oak, with the white quilted coffin interior. We have a bespoke ashes casket with engraving to front and back with a double gloss finish. At both funeral homes Freeman Street and Laceby road, our keepsake hearts are very popular with families these are presented to family members at the end of the service. If you would like a bespoke Ashes casket they are available in any football team. All i have left to say "UP THE MARINERS" !!

White Horses and carriage, a personal, dignified, serene departure. Groomed horses with burgundy plumes chosen by the family, pulling an elegant hand crafted glass sided hearse with traditional carvings. Thank you to the horses Rita and Sue and Bob to for such a lovely final journey for a much loved lady Sharon Lake. R.I.P xx

Jean-Paul “J P” Perry

It is with great sadness that we announce the loss of dearest Jean-Paul “J P” Perry, aged 18 years.
J P sadly passed away in the care of Hull Royal Infirmary, with his family by his side, on Monday 9th June 2025.
A much loved son to Tracey and Mario Perry.
Beloved Brother, Uncle, and good friend to many.
Funeral service to be held at St John and St Stephen’s Church (Shalom) on Tuesday 1st July at 1.00pm.

Michael Welburn Jnr
It is with deep sadness that we announce the recent loss of Michael Welburn Jnr, aged 47 years.
Michael sadly passed away unexpectedly at home, on Saturday 10th May.
Beloved son of Mike and Nancy.
Devoted father of Charlie-Marie and Alfie, treasured former partner of their mum, Donna.
Cherished brother of Chris, Andy and their partners, Kaz and Becca.
Special friend of Angelina and family, and a great friend to many.
Michael will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
A service to celebrate Michael’s life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Tuesday 17th June at 13:30pm.
