**COVID+FLU vaccines update**
COVID:
We will be starting our COVID vaccinations NEXT week Tuesday 19th September 2023. We do have clinics regularly on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. We do not offer walk in slots currently. Appointments can be booked via the NHS website or by ringing 119 from Monday 18th September 2023 onwards.
Eligible groups include:
*Frontline health and social care workers
*Residents in a care home for older adults
*All adults aged 65 years and over
*Those in clinical risk groups such as diabetes, chronic kidney disease, chronic neurological disorders, chronic respiratory disease, pregnancy and immunosuppressed.
*Persons aged 18 years and over who are household contacts of people with immunosuppression
*Persons aged 18 years and over who are carers.
NHS has advised wherever possible, vaccinations for flu and COVID-19 should still be given at the same time. Thus, when you come in for your covid vaccination, you're more than welcome to have flu vaccination at the same time (subject to stock availability).
Alternatively, if you prefer to have your flu vaccination at a different time than your covid jab, please give us a call to arrange something else.
We are currently experiencing a high volume of enquiries regarding Covid boosters. Where possible please do not contact us to regarding Covid vaccine bookings. Please use the National Booking System using the link below or contact 119.

🆕 A Covid vaccine booster will be offered this autumn to people at greatest risk of getting seriously ill.
This follows the latest advice from the Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI).
Eligible people include:
▶️ residents and staff in older adult care homes
▶️ everyone aged 65 and over
▶️ those aged 6 months to 64 years in a clinical risk group
▶️ frontline health and social care workers
▶️ household contacts of immunosuppressed people aged 12 to 64
▶️ unpaid carers aged 16 to 64
