🤍 🧠Today is

Every life is valuable, and every story matters. Let’s break the stigma surrounding mental health and encourage open conversations. If you or someone you know is struggling, reach out - help is available and hope is real. Together, we can create a world where everyone feels seen, heard, and supported. We are here to listen, we are hear to help 🫶🏼

During challenging times, we may find ourselves wondering about the next steps in our journey. It's natural to question our path and seek guidance on what to do and where to go next. Remember, difficult times are temporary, and with patience and resilience, we can find our own way through them and emerge stronger on the other side.
Trust in your inner strength and keep moving forward with courage and determination!💪

The results are in!🌟
Custard creams were the clear winners for taste, although they didn't manage as well in a cuppa! Bourbons and malted milks also fell quickly into a brew, but the clear winner of the resilience test is....shortbread!🎉
Did you predict the winner? What's your favourite biscuit - do you think it would score higher than a shortbread or a custard cream?😆

Happy National Biscuit Day!🍪
Enjoy some delicious biscuits this week to celebrate this special occasion!

We will be celebrating the day by rating some classic biscuits by their durability (how long they stay in one piece after they've been dunked!) and their taste - which biscuit do you think will come out as the best?💪

Sunday is a great day to meet up with friends and let the wind flow through your hair as you venture out in nature on a bike!

Cycling has many benefits including being part of the 5 ways to wellbeing;

🚴‍♂️ Exercise is a great way to positively boost your mental health
🚴‍♂️ Immersing yourself in nature helps to clear your head and have a positive effect on your mental health
🚴‍♂️ Connecting with friends and loved ones creates fun memories

So dust off the saddle and get out there! You will feel so much better for it ♥️

Sometimes in life it feels like you can't move for issues! Once one thing goes wrong, then something else bad happens, then another thing, and before you know you feel so weighted down with one problem after another that it feels like there is no way out!

That's where you're wrong!

Speaking to someone about mental health issues can be empowering and therapeutic. Sometimes you can get so bogged down with things that you can't think clearly and it makes you feel stressed, anxious and low, especially when you bottle up your issues.

Speaking to someone can be refreshing as they see your problems with fresh eyes and experiences. Many problems are very common and can be changed into a positive with a different perspective.

Even if you don't want advice, and just a sounding board to express your feelings and talk about what you are going through, it can feel like a huge weight has been lifted.

Just remember no matter what you are going through, there is always hope and a way out.

You are never alone, trapped or stuck!

Many children and young people can experience an overwhelming amount of pressure from peers to behave in a certain way, which can play a key part in them ending up on the youth justice pathway.

Peer pressure can affect an individual's mental health in several ways:

1. 𝗔𝗻𝘅𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀: Feeling pressure from peers to conform to certain behaviours or expectations can lead to increased levels of anxiety and stress. The fear of not fitting in or being judged by others can create a significant amount of pressure and worry.

2.𝗟𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳-𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗺: When individuals constantly feel the need to meet the expectations of their peers, they may begin to doubt themselves and their own worth. This can lead to feelings of inadequacy and low self-esteem.

3. 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: The constant pressure to conform to peer expectations can result in feelings of sadness, hopelessness, and isolation. If these feelings persist, they can develop into more serious mental health issues such as depression.

If you feel under pressure to do something whether it's passing an exam or being made to do something that you know is wrong, it's always good to talk to someone, as there is always a resolution.

You don't need to tackle this alone ♥️

Throughout life we take many twists and turns, and things don't always go to plan. If something goes wrong or stops you in your tracks, you don't need to erase all the great progress you have made to start again!

STOP, REFLECT & LEARN from it. Then restart from your last check point with your new knowledge and experience to help you positively move forward.

Talk to someone about how far you've come and what might have got in your way causing you to restart. Someone to speak to makes it so much easier to restart.

You've totally got this!!
