Sketchbook workshop with the amazing Francesca Young.

In this sketchbook workshop we will start by exploring the area around the Great Escape, getting inspiration from the buildings and colours around us. We will take some photos and make a few preliminary sketches, we will then head inside and begin making our own mini sketchbooks. Using our first sketches, plus the images and books provided she will talk you through how to create a colourful urban sketchbook that tells a story of the landscape around you. From patterns and colours to history and architecture we will be studying the area and bringing it to life on the page.

Decoupage workshop by Jeanette Drinkall on Saturday 1st November 11-4pm at The Great Escape.

A workshop on how to upcycle tins using decoupage.

Using a range of materials, experiment with fabrics, napkins and paper to create one of a kind containers for all your bits and pieces.

You can also make a decoupage bag to take all your work home in.

Today's wet felt making & creating workshop 🖐 Members of The Comeback got crafty today. Creating a design, soaking felt with soap, alongside rolling & pressing techniques. Lots of fun was had & we had a birthday to celebrate too. A big happy birthday to Kath 🎉🥳🎊 our Paint the Town Proud Project Manager we had a lovely day crafting with you 😄
