🍰 Cake Bake Sale for a Cause 🍰

We are delighted to share that we will be hosting a cake bake sale at our Scartho site on Monday, 16th February (morning) to raise funds for the Menopause Research & Education Fund (MREF).

Every slice helps support vital research and education to improve awareness, understanding, and evidence-based care for women experiencing peri-menopause and menopause.

Your support—whether by baking, buying, or spreading the word—will make a real difference.

What an amazing turnout we had today for the talk on Perimenopause & Menopause by Dr. Sreekala Seepana at Scartho Medical Centre!

The atmosphere was so positive and uplifting, with many women openly sharing their experiences, asking thoughtful questions, and wanting to learn more about perimenopause and menopause. It was truly inspiring to see such engagement and honest conversations around women’s health.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make this event so special 💛

A huge thank you to all the volunteers, staff, and PPG members who ran the cake sale to raise money for the Menopause Research & Education Fund — your support is greatly appreciated.

SLC Medical Group will be closed on Thursday 1st January and will re-open on Friday 2nd January at 8am.

Whilst we are closed, if you have an urgent health need that is not an emergency, please call NHS 111.

If you have a mental health or adult social care need, please ring 01472 256256.

Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999. Chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
