Excellent training from EMERGENCY RESPONSE TRAINING SOLUTIONS LIMITED (ERTS) recently for LRDP members wishing to refresh their management of patients in cardiac arrest and deterioration. The Immediate Life Support Course was delivered at Diana Princess of Wales Hospital, Grimsby, and provided a variety of skills, from managing a deteriorating patient, identifying causes and treating cardiac arrest, to improving abilities as both a team member and leader.

LRDP's clinical programme would not be the same without the tremendous input from our colleagues at United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust - ULHT's Post Graduate Medical Education Team. They provide us with the space, high-tech equipment and expertise to deliver vital face-to-face training for our members who are preparing for the PLAB 2 exam - a performance-based assessment of clinical and professional skills, knowledge and behaviours.

LRDP is proud to work with partners who address the UK's e-waste problem by redistributing unused devices to those who need them most.
Donated tech is used to digitally include refugees in the UK, giving them the tools they need to enter the modern digital world and achieve their goals.

We would like to thank Screen Share UK, and applaud their work in painstakingly sorting through unwanted tech, salvaging the parts they can use, and responsibly recycling the ones they can't.

Dr Sara Hamza is using her lived experience on the OET-PLAB pathway to support current LRDP members, and in doing so, we hope she is also gaining valuable teaching experience and feedback for her portfolio. An introduction to medical education, with the support of LRDP's experienced Clinical Leads, now forms an important part of our offer to members.
