The end of last week brought
Lots of fun and laughter, we had our whole home Dance Off with residents and staff joining in.....everyone danced brilliantly 🤼‍♂️🤼💃

The week was rounded off with the boys from RGS coming in and entertaining us on their musical instruments and then they held another of their popular quizzes, what a great bunch of students they are!👌🙌

What a weekend at Guildford House Care Home!
The residents enjoyed a lovely church service, beautiful opera singing from Yuri, Mini golf, scrumptious cakes made by the ladies and
gentlemen in the baking club, and last but definitley not least,
"Legs Eleven, Lucky Seven and Droopy Drawers" 🤭 were just some of the rhyming numbers called out at the packed Bingo evening which was enjoyed by many residents and their families, clearly great fun!

This week started off with some great singing from the residents, with Lily directing proceedings brilliantly as ever!

Some of the residents enjoyed a ride around some Surrey Villages, culminating in a stop in beautiful Shamley Green for some well deserved snacks 😀

The next bus trip was to one of the biggest Sainsbury stores, Watchmoo Park where they rewarded themselves with coffee and cake and a certain person had a HUGE hot chocolate 😋😀

The latter part of this week was just as busy and fun for our lively residents with a great mixture of entertainment in the home and some lovely outings too. Take a look below at the photographs of the Film night showing Breakfast at Tiffany's, popcorn was enjoyed too!

The RGS boys entertained us with their usual excellent musical recital, so much talent!

The musical theme continued with a beautiful recital by Mark Levin on his harp followed by the baking club who made scrummy muffins!

Heather gave a fascinating talk about a day in 1969, how times have changed!

On Saturday Rachel took some residents to.watch a rugby match at Guildford Rugby Club (Sadly we lost) but it was a thoroughly enjoyable day out with a great lunch in the club room all.the same! 🏉

The past week has been full of fun and interesting outings and activities for our residents.
The outings have included an M&S trip, Squires Garden Centre, The Maltings cafe and a stop over in Tilford! Of course there were delicious coffees and cakes enjoyed too!

Back at home, the residents have been entertained by the RGS boys and their teacher playing some beautiful music followed by a quiz by the boys and the baking club making delicious cakes 🎂
Gosden House students visted us again and lots of activities were enjoyed!
Paul came and entertained us all with his lovely singing as ever and last but not least, the Arts & Crafts group did some fabulous painting on their mugs!
