This week really has been full on with activities organised by our brilliant Activities Team.....
Next up today is the lighting of the Christmas tree! Photos to follow!

There have been lots of varied activities at Guildford House recently!

We have had the residents having their clothes mended by one of the amazing activities team, at The Clothing Repair Shop, Lucy Lou belting out her songs, a gentle drive through some picturesque Surrey villages with a stop for a cuppa!

A trip to Camberley M and S and coffee at Tesco, another visit to Guildford Cathedral Christmas Market and plenty of Arts and Crafts and exercises.

More to come every day with something for all our residents to enjoy!

Last week the residents had a very busy and fun week!
Just some of the activities enjoyed by everyone are shown here.

We had the RGS boys in who played some lovely music on their musical instruments, held a quiz and spent time chatting to our lovely residents.

The residents made some wonderful artwork for Remembrance day on Tuesday and some of the ladies were madly knitting poppies!

There was a trip out to Broadwater Lake where the residents fed the ducks just enough food so as not to affect their natural foraging. Look at the Coots weird 'Halloween' like feet marks!

There was also plenty of music on the piano and recorder to enjoy aswell as energetic Zumba classes!

What a day yesterday for The residents of Guildford House Care Home - Avery Collection !!

One of our fabulous residents, David, celebrated his 100th Birthday, WOW!! He was presented with a delicious cake, just look at his lovely smile!

There was a trip out for some of the residents to the fascinating Rifleman's Museum, lots of interesting facts were learned and plenty of fun was had by all!

Last but not least, another game of snooker, I wonder who won?! 😃

Take a look at all the different and fun things the the residents have been doing.....and it's only Wednesday!

So far this week there has been Zumba, Arts & Crafts, Knitting Poppies, Singing for the Mind, a very competitive gave of Boccia and a snooker match....(with a few re arranged balls!😃).

Come back on Friday and see what else has been happening at Guildford House, there is definitley something for everyone to enjoy!

A round up of this weeks activities, what a fantastic week it has been,
Well done everyone!! 🙌👏🫶

We have been on a shopping trip to M & S, Singing for the Mind at the Maltings cafe in Farnham and fun arm chair exercises 🏋‍♂️!

The baking club made some scrummy cakes for all to enjoy at our Halloween party today!

What a fabulous time was had by all!

Great costumes, makeup, dancing and singing! 💃🤼‍♂️
