Some things you may want to know when coming for treatment with me.

Where am I based?
My treatment room is in my own home in Guisborough so when you come you will be coming to my home address not a salon or unit. It is a very warm and welcoming environment.

Where can a park?
As I am in a residential area, there is free street parking for you to use close to my home.

What should I wear to my appointment?
Wear something comfortable as some of the treatments will require you to remove some of your clothing.

What time should I arrive?
Please don't arrive more than 5 minutes before your appointment as I am based in my home environment, I don't have a waiting room.

How can I book an appointment with you?
You can book an appointment with me via Facebook or Instagram or by messaging me direct on 07805 499690. I do also have a booking system which has a list of treatments offered, the prices and my availability.
https://bookings.gettimely.com/blissfullybytheseaholistictherapies/bb/book

How do I pay?
You will be asked to pay a deposit when booking online, this is taken from the cost of the treatment. The reminder of the cost can be paid either by cash or bank transfer.

Can I cancel my appointment?
Please allow a minimum of 24 hours to cancel your appointment. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a charge of the full appointment. You will be sent an appointment reminder 48 hours before your appointment.

You keep waiting for the right time.

When things calm down. When you've got more money. When you've finished that project. When the kids are older.
But here's the truth:
The right time doesn't exist.
There will always be something.
Always a reason to wait. Always something more urgent. Always someone who needs you more.
And meanwhile, your body's getting more tired.
More tense. More desperate for you to just stop for one hour.
So maybe the right time is just… now.
I have space this week. https://bookings.gettimely.com/blissfullyreflexology/bb/book

You keep waiting for the right time. This is it.

New Treatment combination

Drift & Restore Reflexology (90 mins)

Sink into deep relaxation with this extended reflexology experience, designed to calm the body, quiet the mind, and gently reset the nervous system. Your treatment begins with expert reflexology techniques applied to key pressure points on the feet to support overall balance and wellbeing.

As your body begins to unwind, the experience is elevated with an ASMR-inspired sensory journey focused on the scalp and arms. Using featherlight touch, slow, rhythmic movements, and delicate tactile stimulation, this element encourages a deeply calming, almost trance-like state.

The combination of therapeutic reflexology and gentle sensory touch works to ease tension, improve circulation, and promote a profound sense of calm throughout the entire body.

Perfect for those seeking stress relief, improved sleep, or a moment to fully switch off, Drift & Restore invites you to let go, drift deeply, and emerge feeling restored, grounded, and renewed.

I still have appointments available this month.

Healing Reactions in Reflexology

What are healing reactions?
Healing reactions are short-term physical or emotional responses that some people experience after a reflexology session. They are usually seen as a sign that the body is adjusting and starting to rebalance itself.

Why do they happen?
Reflexology works by applying pressure to points on the feet or hands, that relate to different parts of the body. This can help the body to relax, improve circulation, and support natural healing processes.

As the body begins to clear out waste and restore balance, some people may feel slightly worse before they feel better.

Common healing reactions:
These can vary from person to person, but may include:

Feeling tired

Headaches

Mild flu-like symptoms

Needing to urinate more often

Changes in bowel movements

Emotional sensitivity (e.g. tearfulness)

Changes in sleep patterns

These usually start within a few hours to a couple of days after treatment and settle within 48–72 hours.

Emotional reactions:
Some people may experience:

Mood swings

Feeling more emotional than usual

Vivid or unusual dreams

This may happen because the body is releasing stored stress or emotions. It’s best to acknowledge these feelings gently rather than ignore them.

What should you do to support the body during this time:

Drink plenty of water

Get enough rest

Allow the body time to recover

It's important to know that healing reactions are usually mild and short-lived. If symptoms are severe or last longer than a few days, it’s important to seek advice from a healthcare professional. Reflexology should be used alongside, not instead of, medical care.

Healing reactions are part of the body’s natural process of restoring balance. They can be a positive sign that the treatment is working, even if they feel uncomfortable at first.

The transition through to Menopause, on average, takes 4 years but this can range from 1-12 years and the average age of Menopause in the UK is 51.

In the UK, it is estimated that 80% of women do experience some symptoms with the most common being hot flushes and night sweats – the good news here is that a research study has shown that reflexology can help these symptoms (more in a little bit).

There are '5 Pillars’ that can be looked at for easing the menopause transition, from perimenopause through to healthy ageing?:
• Nutrition
• Movement
• Managing stress levels
• Getting good quality sleep
• Find enjoyment and purpose

Nutrition - The right foods can make you feel better. Try increasing the amount of vegetables, beans, wholegrains, nuts and seeds. These foods can help with weight control but also cognition and mood.

Movement - Movement and exercise is believed to be one of the most important things anyone can do to improve physical and emotional health. The British Menopause Society recommends regular weigh bearing exercise like walking, skipping and jogging.

Relaxation - Oestrogen and Progesterone (O&P), our calming hormones, help protect us from cortisol (a stress hormone), so as O&P come crashing down in menopause, the effects of cortisol are felt more. This is why anxiety is a common symptom. Make positive changes and take time to for yourself you are worth it.

Sleep - In menopause transition, sleep disturbance is common and is thought to be associated with falling hormones but is also affected by night sweats, anxious thoughts and increased urination. Reflexology is proven to aid sleep so creating a regular bedtime routine can also help.

Purpose - Take this time to reframe your life and decide what you want the rest of your life to look like. Try finding a new hobby, catch up with friends and make new ones by joining a local group.

Its your time Ladies 💕💕

What is ASMR all about?

1️⃣ ASMR stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response
But simply put, it’s that gentle, soothing “tingly” sensation that brings a deep sense of calm and relaxation.

2️⃣ It’s triggered by the senses
Soft sounds, slow movements, and feather-light touch can all activate that comforting response.

3️⃣ It naturally reduces stress
ASMR can help lower heart rate and blood pressure while easing feelings of anxiety.

4️⃣ It boosts your feel-good hormones
Experiences like ASMR may encourage the release of dopamine and oxytocin — helping lift mood and create emotional ease.

5️⃣ It supports better sleep and overall wellbeing
By activating the body’s parasympathetic nervous system (your “rest and relax” mode), ASMR can help you fall asleep faster, stay asleep longer, and feel more balanced.

What is ASMR Light Touch Therapy?
In a therapy setting, ASMR Light Touch Therapy combines slow, feather-light touch, soft sounds, and a calm, reassuring presence. The aim is to help you switch off from daily stress, deeply relax, and restore your overall wellbeing.

Fibromyalgia affects more people than you might think.
Around 2-4% of adults worldwide live with fibromyalgia - a long term condition that causes widespread pain, fatigue, sleep problems, and brain fog. It is diagnosed more in women but it can affect anyone.

Research shows that hands on therapies can really help, reflexology is one of those hands on therapies. Reflexology can provide you with a relaxing treatment, helping you to switch off and get a better sleep. It has also supported some of my clients with their pain and fatigue.

Just ask my clients, they will tell you !!

if you would like to have a further discussion about how reflexology can help or want to book an appointment, direct message me or give me a text/call on 07805499690.

Reflexology supports more than the body. It doesn't just support the physical wellbeing, it helps quiet the busy mind.

Many clients noticed reduced overthinking, emotional relief, and a sense of calm they haven't felt for a long time. This happens when the brain receives consistent signals of safety and balance through the feet.

A relaxed body creates a calmer mind and a calmer mind changes everything 💕

Why not book yourself in for some today, I have appointments this week.

Not tried it before, why not try a 30 minute taster session with me.
