If we are breathing, this is life winning. We overlook that simple truth in search for something more. A little conflict is good. It is where we rub up against the edges of the boxes we are confined to. This is the expansion desire. The only issue is, it encourages us to ignore the peace desire, and we become easily addicted to growth without boundaries.

The mind is such a tricky paradox. While we need our judgements to determine what we do in our lives on a daily basis, the same judgements will pull us out of balance, or increase our feelings of separation. We strive to know what is right, and unwillingly create more "wrong" or isolating beliefs in the process. The greatest skill of the mind is to embrace paradox, and be OK with it.

Our pain is mostly a mental thing. We don't experience it as such, so we think that experiences we have, and our emotions are to blame. Much of our anguish and pain can be alleviated by changing our minds. Something that we rarely practice doing.

We have negative emotions in our lives because we react to something that has an important lesson for us. Our feelings are a call for attention. Attention towards an action that is calling to be made or a belief that is not healthy for us. The emotions we feel are just the messengers.
