Merry Christmas from all of us at Brio Button House ✨🎄

✨ This Christmas, we want to take a moment to send our warmest wishes to our incredible staff, wonderful residents, and our amazing local community. You are the heart of Button House, and we are so grateful for each and every one of you. ✨

❤️🕯️ As we celebrate, we also pause to remember those who are no longer with us and to hold close those who are less fortunate. Christmas is a time for reflection, kindness, and gratitude, and for cherishing the moments we share with our loved ones. 🎄✨

🎁🤍 This festive season, the Button House team has been spreading a little extra Christmas magic:

🍲 We proudly delivered food donations to Sutton Night Watch Homeless Charity , supporting those in need within our community.

🎅🏼🎁 And yesterday, 2.5 members of the Button House team delivered presents to the children at St Helier Hospital at the children's hospital St Mary's, so every child had something to open on Christmas morning. Moments like these truly remind us what Christmas is all about. ✨💫

🎅 Merry Christmas to everyone on Christmas Eve!🎄✨

Here at Button House, it’s been another wonderfully busy and festive run-up to Christmas. Our General Manager, Karl, has once again been out spreading cheer with the Rotary Club of Carshalton Park’s Christmas Charity Event, where Santa travelled around Wallington and Carshalton collecting donations for local charities. 💝
Karl truly loves his charitable work and is incredibly proud to give back to the local community.

Now… we’re not saying Santa has officially relocated from the North Pole 🤫 but he was spotted placing presents under our Button House Christmas tree (picture attached 🎁). Could Santa be one of our residents? After all, he’s officially 1,765 years old, so he’s more than eligible for an apartment in our beautiful retirement community! 😉
That said, we know he’s nowhere near retirement with such a busy Christmas schedule… or was that actually Karl in disguise during one of his Rotary Club appearances? 😜

These events are always so rewarding, and seeing the joy on children’s faces really is priceless. 🥰 A huge thank you to the Rotary Club and everyone involved for spreading so much Christmas cheer once again this year.

🎄✨ Today at Brio Button House … the Elves Took Over! ✨🎄

✨✨✨ Our naughty-but-nice elves were hard at work today, putting on a truly unforgettable Christmas lunch for our wonderful residents! ✨✨✨

🎄🎅🏼 The team fully embraced the festive spirit, dressing up as elves and spreading Christmas cheer (with just a hint of mischief 😉).

🍽️✨ A huge festive thank you to Chef Harish and his brilliant kitchen team, who served up an absolutely delicious Christmas feast, full plates, happy faces, and plenty of festive favourites all round 😍🎄

🎁😂 And yes… we had two Button House Elves on the Shelf keeping watch. Although… we’re still fairly certain those two were the ones up to no good all along 👀😄 (purely festive mischief, of course!).

Laughter, full bellies, and festive cheer filled the room — moments like these are exactly what Button House is all about ❤️🎄✨

🎄🎶🌟 Christmas Choir at Button House! 🌟🎶🎄

Today, we were treated to the sweetest festive surprise, the incredible Year 4 Choir from Hackbridge Primary School came to fill our home with Christmas carols, cheer, and pure joy! 🎶👧🏾👦🏼💫

Their voices echoed through Hackbridge, bringing warmth, smiles, and that true holiday sparkle to our residents, friends, and families. ❤️🌟

And of course… we couldn’t celebrate without mince pies, mulled wine, and plenty of sweet treats for our talented young guests! 🥧🍷🍬😋

This marks our 4th year welcoming Hackbridge Primary School for this beautiful tradition and we’re already excited for many more years to come. 🎄🤍✨

A huge thank you to Mrs Klein and Mr Callistan for bringing the wonderful and talented choir and sharing the magic with us. You were all absolutely amazing. 🙌🎶💛

🎄✨ Christmas Crafting Magic at Button House! ✨🎄

Today, Button House was filled with glitter, laughter and full-on festive cheer as we were lucky enough to have one of Santa’s BEST elves leading a very special workshop… 😉🎅🏼🧝‍♂️

Our wonderful Maintenance Operative, Varo, swapped his toolbox for tinsel and transformed into Santa’s top Elf to run a Christmas Decoration Workshop for our residents — and what an incredible job he did! 🎨🌟

After already sprinkling Christmas magic throughout Button House with our stunning decorations this week, Varo went one step further and helped residents create beautiful handmade pieces for their own homes. From baubles to Christmas angels, the creativity was flowing and the room was absolutely buzzing with festive spirit. ❤️✨

The hobby room was full, the energy was joyful, and the Christmas spirit was contagious. Residents loved every moment — chatting, crafting, and getting well and truly into the holiday mood. 🎁☃️🎄

A huge thank you to Varo for his dedication, creativity and Christmas sparkle. The decorations across Button House are already breathtaking this year, and this workshop was truly the icing on the cake. 🍰✨

🦶🍁 Fall Prevention Workshop at Button House 🍁🦶

Last week at Button House, our residents enjoyed an incredibly informative and practical Fall Prevention Workshop, delivered by the lovely Roshani, a Specialist Physiotherapist from the Maximising Independence Service within Sutton Health & Care.

Roshani shared expert guidance tailored to everyday life — from improving strength and balance, to simple home adjustments and confidence-building techniques. Our residents found the workshop not only useful, but also reassuring and empowering. 💪🙂

The Maximising Independence Service, a fantastic NHS-funded programme, supports people across the community to stay safe, mobile and independent in their own homes. Their team offers assessments, therapy, and ongoing advice to help individuals remain active and reduce risks — an invaluable service for so many.

By inviting Roshani to our Coffee Morning, we wanted to ensure our residents understood how to access this support, how referrals work, and who to contact if they ever need help. It’s all about giving our community the confidence and knowledge to live life to the fullest. 🌼
