🐣 Easter Giving at Sutton Night Watch! 🐣

The team at Brio Retirement Living, Brio Button House teamed up with our friends at Rishi's in Slate and Grain Brasserie & Bar to spread some extra joy this Good Friday

We were delighted to donate a mountain of Easter eggs to the incredible team at Sutton Night Watch Homeless Charity 🍫✨

The atmosphere was full of smiles and community spirit as our very own "King of Button House" and our resident "Easter Bunny" hopped over to hand-deliver the treats 👑🐰

It was heart-warming to see the vital work being done at the charity and to play a small part in brightening the day for those they support 💜🏡

At Button House, we believe in the power of giving back, and there’s no better time than Easter to share a little sweetness and kindness within our local community. A huge thank you to everyone who helped make this donation possible! ✨

It was a truly joyful morning, full of warmth, laughter, and of course, plenty of chocolate! 🎁💛

🐟🍟 Fish & Chips Friday at Button House! 🍟🐟

It’s become a much-loved Button House tradition to enjoy a big Fish & Chips lunch on the last Friday of every month – and today was our biggest one yet!

While fish & chips is served every Friday, this special monthly gathering is about so much more than just food… it’s about community, laughter, and coming together. 💛🏡

Today we welcomed our largest crowd to date, serving 42 portions of freshly prepared cod, with chunky chips and minty mushy peas (with nearly 30 residents joining us!).

A huge shoutout to Harish, our Head Chef, and the fantastic Slate & Grain team, who rose to the challenge brilliantly. Every dish was served on time and presented in traditional fish & chips boxes – just how our residents like it, keeping that authentic local chippy feel!

Today at Brio Retirement Living, Brio Button House, we had double the reason to celebrate as we marked the birthdays of Frank and Rosalind in the best way we know how… with cake, cake and more cake! 🎂🧁🍰

Reception quickly became the heart of the celebrations, filled with chatter, laughter and plenty of sweet treats. Residents stopped by to share their well wishes, enjoy a slice (or two! 😄) and help make Frank and Rosalind’s day extra special 🎈💛

🎉💧 Nutrition & Hydration Week at Button House! 💧🎉

Today our Brio Button House community came together for a wonderful and inspiring event as we celebrated Nutrition and Hydration Week with our residents 🌿✨

Residents joined Sadie Birch and the team to learn more about the importance of staying nourished and hydrated, while enjoying a lovely afternoon of cream teas, infused waters and herbal teas 🍓🍵💧

It was a relaxed and enjoyable way to highlight how small daily habits can make such a positive difference to wellbeing

To help encourage everyone to keep their hydration levels up, residents were also gifted their own water bottles, a simple but meaningful reminder to keep sipping throughout the day

We were also delighted to welcome a very special and inspirational guest, our local fitness hero Anthony Nyman founder of Antics New 💪✨ Anthony shared his passion for creating a supportive, no-judgement fitness community where people of all ages and abilities can come together, make friends, have fun and feel stronger both physically and mentally with the Team

At Antics, the focus is simple: love, support and encouragement ❤️ with classes designed so everyone can take part and enjoy moving their bodies in a positive environment. Even better, the first class is free, so anyone curious can simply turn up and give it a try.

Events like today are a wonderful reminder that health, community and connection go hand in hand and it was truly lovely to see our residents enjoying the afternoon together 🌼
