It's fairly well understood that a major part of building immunity and developing a healthy immune system is being exposed to lots of different pathogens, diseases and bugs, which is why I can't help but be concerned about the effects of staying home, away from everything apart from what is completely known to our systems and the adverse effects on our immune system this will have. I'm not going to lie, I'm more than a little concerned about the affect on our immune systems during lock-down and isolation. How will they fair not being exposed to outside pathogens? Our skin is super cleansed, our work surfaces and homes are all anti-bac'd and some of us are not going out, being asked to isolate!
