Is your child struggling with schoolwork? Changes in their vision could be the cause—and catching them early can make all the difference!

Here are three signs to watch for:

📚 Reading below grade level – They might be having trouble seeing the words clearly.
😕 Disinterest in reading or focus-heavy tasks – If they’re avoiding activities that need concentration, their eyes might not be keeping up.
👁️ Covering or closing one eye while reading – This could be a sign they’re trying to focus better.

If you notice any of these signs, it’s a great idea to book an eye test. Early detection means a brighter future for your child in school and beyond!

If you've found driving uncomfortable recently, anti-reflection coated lenses can help by:
• Reducing glare from oncoming lights
• Improving contrast and clarity
• Minimising distracting reflections
• Making winter journeys more comfortable and safer

If you already wear glasses but still struggle with glare, it may be time to refresh your prescription or explore upgrade options.
We're always happy to guide you.

Fresh air, natural daylight and stepping away from screens — even briefly — can help ease:
• Tired or irritated eyes
• Digital eye strain
• Dryness after long days indoors
• That "heavy" feeling behind the eyes

When was your last eye exam?

If you're due, it's a great time to book ahead for 2026 so you start the year with healthy, comfortable vision.
We'll be here to help every step of the way.

𝗙𝗲𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗿𝘂𝘀𝗵?
Your eyes often feel it too.

Post-Christmas fatigue can trigger:
• Dryness
• Irritation
• Fluctuating focus
• More difficulty with screens
• Increased sensitivity to light

A few small steps can help reset things:
• Stay hydrated
• Get fresh air
• Blink more when on screens
• Give yourself some early nights

If your eyes are still feeling uncomfortable after a few days, we're happy to take a look.

Winter sun sits lower in the sky and can be surprisingly bright — especially with wet roads or frost creating extra glare.

UV protection matters all year round, and sunglasses can make winter walks far more comfortable.
