In running, more miles don’t just test your fitness 🏃♂️they stress your tissues.
As mileage goes up, so does the chance of overload, irritation, and injury. That’s not bad luck, it’s biology 🧬
Most running niggles don’t appear out of nowhere. They sometimes begin as stiffness, “tightness,” soreness that hangs around, little changes in how you move.
The mistake isn’t doing more. It’s doing more without adjusting load, recovery, strength, or technique. Small issues addressed early are usually simple. Small issues ignored tend to get complicated.
If you feel something brewing, don’t wait for it to shout. A quick check, smarter training, and the right rehab can keep you running longer, stronger, and with fewer forced breaks. 🏃♂️
