🎉 Throw Back Time! 🎉

Last Friday, our residents, staff, and loved ones came together to celebrate Children in Need in true style! 🎶 We enjoyed fantastic live music from the talented Jane Jenkinson and indulged in a delicious traditional cake sale. 🍰

Everyone had a wonderful time — the dance floor was alive with energy as residents and team members showed off their best moves! 💃🕺

🌺 Lest We Forget 🌺
Today, we honour the heroes who stood for peace and freedom in all wars.
Their courage and sacrifice continue to inspire generations.

We also remember the horses and all other animals who fought alongside our soldiers —
they too served bravely and gave so much for our freedom.

From all of us at Hailsham House, we honour and remember you.

Today, a few of our residents proudly represented Hailsham House at the memorial service on Hailsham High Street. Together, they laid a wreath on behalf of those who live and work at Hailsham House, paying tribute to those who gave their lives for our freedom.

Resident Frank Chenery and staff member Jade Thomas laid the wreath side by side — one generation supporting the other in remembrance.

🎆 A Night to Remember at Hailsham House! 🎆
On Wednesday, the sky above Hailsham House lit up with a spectacular fireworks display! 🌟 Residents, staff, loved ones, and neighbors gathered together to witness a breathtaking show of vibrant colors.

There were smiles, cheers, and applause all around — and heartfelt thanks from our residents, who shared how the evening brought back cherished memories. 💖

It was a beautiful moment of connection, joy, and celebration.

📣Just a reminder📣

Tomorrow Hailsham House will be holding their private fireworks display for their residents. The display won't be too long but it will be loud, and we would like to give you a heads up that if you have any pets please bring them inside so they don't get to scare if they are out on their evening adventures.

The residents are very much looking forward to this and they hope that you will enjoy the display if you can see them from your home too.

Last Saturday, Hailsham House came together to honour All Saints Day.
We welcomed the families of residents we have sadly lost, sharing a beautiful service led by Desmond, whose heartfelt words brought comfort and reflection. The service featured two moving hymns — Amazing Grace and The Lord is My Shepherd — that touched every soul present.

As the service concluded, each guest lit a candle and placed their loved one's name, printed between angel wings, at our pergola — a serene space where their memory will remain visible and cherished.

We ended the afternoon with warm cups of tea, slices of cake, and shared stories — a gentle reminder of the love that continues to surround us.

🎃 Halloween Week at Hailsham House! 🧡

This week our lovely residents have been busy making magical memories — from painting pumpkins 🎨, enjoying crisp autumn walks 🍂, taking a scenic countryside and seafront road trip 🚗🌊

To top it all off, we wrapped up the week with a spooktacular Halloween tea party! 👻🫖

On Monday, we had a real treat here at Hailsham House — a magical afternoon of storytelling through Indian dancing in celebration of Diwali.
The amazement on our residents' faces was a delight to see, as they immersed themselves in the vibrant culture and joyful energy. Moments like these truly light up our home! 🌟💃✨
