ABOUT US
Woodside Hall Nursing Home stands in spacious landscaped grounds halfway between the charter market town of Hailsham and the town of Polegate, home to a main line railway station, and is just 5 miles from the seaside town of Eastbourne. The purpose of Woodside Hall Nursing Home is to provide residents with a home away from home, all residents, whether they are here for short term respite or long term care, are treated with the same amount of love and care and are made to feel as happy and comfortable as possible. Here at Woodside we provide 24 hour nursing from friendly, fully qualified staff that are always on hand to ensure that all of our residents’ needs are met. It can be daunting to think about a loved one staying in a nursing home but, rest assured, Woodside Hall isn’t like other nursing homes, we try to provide our residents with an environment that feels much more like that of an hotel, relaxed and friendly, with a welcome basket of toiletries and fresh towels provided upon arrival and embroidered robes and slippers, flowers, newspapers, manicurists and hairdressers available upon request

OUR CARE
Woodside Hall have been providing nursing care for the elderly for the past 25 years, and being a registered nursing home means residents can receive full nursing care through short term or long term illnesses or disability, thus giving security and peace of mind. The 24 hour nursing care is designed to build on the individuals strengths to help them achieve their full potential physically, intellectually, emotionally and socially. We ensure that everyone is able to continue their personal life with personal privacy and dignity, at all times. Relatives and friends are always encouraged and welcome to visit at any time. RESPITE CARE
Caring for a loved one can be a challenging part of everyday life and difficult for anyone to take on alone. The beauty of respite care is that it provides a short term break for those giving care so they can either take a holiday or just take some time to help alleviate stress and regain energy, all the while they can be safe in the knowledge that their loved one is being treated to a holiday of their own, being given the utmost care and attention. Here at Woodside Hall we can provide them with 24 hour nursing care so that all their needs are met. Respite care can also be a helpful way to get a first time experience of what it’s like to come into a nursing home, helping with the tough decision of whether to stay in your own home or take up residence here with us. ACCOMODATION
As you enter the building you will immediately appreciate the warm and friendly ambience of our lovely home.
