Here's my short "music video" reel for my track 'Healing Nature with Ancient Jambati Singing Bowl' from my EP 'Mindful Moments with Ancient Jambati Singing Bowl'. This bowl is one of my 8-inch thin walled Jambati bowls. It's one of the old bowls I place around the room during my sound baths at Thrive Wellbeing Hub, and at my other venues.
The video was recorded in slow motion, separate to the sound recording. The nature sounds are field recordings that I captured on a weekend away in Dumfries and Galloway at Caerlaverock National Nature Reserve, just by Caerlaverock Castle back in June 2023, and the Jambati singing bowl was recorded at home in Hale, Altrincham, in the kitchen.
(For those wondering, yes, I record most of my singing bowls at home in the kitchen... contrary to marketing gimmicks and beliefs on the internet, you don't need to record in a music studio if you know how to use both recording equipment and DAW software to mix and master. I will also add that my background is rooted in music, specifically sonic arts composition and free improvisation, and I spend many hours mixing and mastering each of my tracks to broadcast standard.)
