Myth: A direct cremation means you can’t say a final goodbye as there is no ceremony.

Truth: Whilst there is no funeral service at the crematorium for family and friend to say your goodbyes by visiting your loved one in our Chapel of Rest. You can say a few words, play a piece of music, or just be together in silence to pay your respects.

You can also arrange a memorial service at a later date to scatter or bury the ashes.

A simpler choice can still be deeply meaningful and we’re here to support you every step of the way.
