We simplify our company name from Etac R82 to Etac

Founded in 1973, Etac is one of the world’s leading developers and providers of ergonomic assistive devices and patient handling equipment, with the well-respected product brands R82, Convaid, Molift, Immedia, Star, Etac and recently also Ki Mobility.

However, many have only known us through one or two of our product brands due to several company names and websites.

By adopting Etac as our corporate brand, we take the first step in making it easier to get to know our company, interact with us and explore our full product offering. As Etac, we continue to provide our well-respected product brands, only in a simpler way.

We are pleased to share with you that white has been added to the colour range for Etac Swift shower stool/chairs and Etac Edge, Easy and Smart shower stools
In addition, the maximum user weight has increased for the Etac Swift shower stool/chairs from 130 kg to 160 kg, and the Etac Smart and Easy stools from 150 kg to 200 kg.

We’d like to share two dementia guides we've put together for you. The first is a simple guide for families and carers which explains what dementia is, different types of dementia and the symptoms associated with each.

The second is a guide to daily living aids which looks at the difficulties experienced by someone with dementia when carrying out various daily tasks. It gives examples of equipment that could help them carry on doing purposeful and hopefully stimulating activities to maintain and enhance their independence for longer.
