Join us in our Toy Appeal for the Cradley Heath Salvation Army ! 🎁✨

We are collecting unwrapped new toys for children in need this Christmas.

These toys will be distributed to children referred by social services, bringing joy and smiles during the holiday season.

This is our last push for donations, and we will be delivering all the toys on Monday, December 8th👏

🌟Weekly Trip Highlights! 🌟

This week, we took a delightful trip to Webb's Garden Centre on Tuesday!

Our residents had an amazing time strolling through the beautiful Christmas decorations. It was heart warming to see them interact with each other and the friendly staff at the centre.

After exploring, we enjoyed a lovely lunch at Harvester, where everyone savoured delicious food and shared great company. It was truly a day filled with joy and laughter! 🎄🍽️

Our lunch is a wonderful opportunity for our community members, especially those who may often find themselves dining alone.

Yesterday, we had a wonderful time visiting St. John's Baptist Church to decorate a Christmas tree representing Shenstone Court Care Home! 🎄

It was a heart warming experience for our team and especially for Shirley, one of our residents. She loved engaging with the community and reminiscing about her own special ties to the church, where she was married and her children were baptized.

Our Residents and staff took part in making the decorations for our tree each bauble has what Christmas means to them.

This event not only allowed us to showcase our holiday spirit but also strengthened our connections within the community.

We encourage everyone to visit St. John's Baptist Church to admire all the beautifully decorated trees! 🌟❤️

We are excited to announce our Christmas toy collection in support of the Cradley Heath Salvation Army !

We’re collecting new toys for children who need them this Christmas.

Your donations will be given to children referred by social services and social workers, making a difference in their holiday season.

This afternoon Ellen our Customer Relations Manager attended the Place-Based Network event hosted by Dudley CVS, and what a great opportunity it was!

🐾🐒 Exciting Tuesday Trip Update! 🦓🐘

This week, our residents had a fantastic outing to Dudley Zoo! 🌟

They enjoyed a lovely morning at the café, where they participated a delightful weekly event. During their visit, they attended a fascinating talk on saving energy, learning valuable tips on how to be more environmentally friendly.

Additionally, our residents explored a special folder filled with pictures of animals that have been hand-reared at the zoo over the years, gaining insight into the rich history and care that goes into the zoo's operations. It was not only an enjoyable day but also an enriching experience filled with knowledge about the animals and their habitats. We can't wait for our next adventure! 🌿✨

☕️🎶 Join us for a Community Coffee Afternoon! 🎶☕️

On Friday, 28th November, from 2 PM to 4 PM, Shenstone Court Care Home invites everyone in the community to come together for a special Remembrance Day event.

We'll have local veterans coming in on the day to talk to residents and visitors, along with delicious refreshments and freshly baked cakes throughout the afternoon. Families, friends, and all community members are warmly welcome to attend and share in this meaningful gathering.
