Gower Gardens Residential Care Home Set in the West Midlands town of Halesowen, Gower Gardens is a purpose-built, luxury care home offering residential and dementia care.

Part of the Kingsley Healthcare Group. Gower Gardens is a purpose built, dementia friendly home, offering the highest quality of residential care in a stylish and homely environment. The home provides 66 en-suite rooms across three floors, all furnished to the highest standard. There are a range of lounges and quiet rooms, so that individuals are able to enjoy a varied lifestyle. Within the home there is also a purpose built cinema room, on-site hairdressing facilities and a café area. Our aim is to provide the right care, tailored to meet residents’ individual needs and preferences. We want to support residents to maximise their independence.

🎃 Halloween Preparations: Arts & Crafts and Pumpkin Carving 🎃

Today, we chose to indulge in some arts and crafts in anticipation of Halloween this Friday.

Today, we hosted our weekly tea and coffee morning for our residents.

It was delightful to have relatives join us, accompanied by soothing classical music playing in the background. Our residents truly enjoy gathering to reminisce and savor a few biscuits together.

Don’t forget: We hold our Community Coffee Mornings on the first Thursday of each month, starting at 10:30 AM.

Both staff and residents participated by donning their pink attire, and we encouraged residents to design their own Wear It Pink T-shirts, fostering creativity and community spirit. 🩷🩷🩷

Today, we joyfully celebrated Diwali, the Festival of Lights, which marks the victory of light over darkness and good over evil.

This vibrant celebration is observed by millions around the world and is characterized by the lighting of lamps, fireworks, and sharing of sweets.

We enjoyed a video that highlighted the significance of this festival, exploring its rich history and cultural traditions.

Yesterday, we resumed our exciting ping pong games.

The objective was to see which side could place the most of their colored balls into the egg carton. Everyone had a great time with a bit of friendly competition, though it meant plenty of running around for our activity coordinators, Anne Marie and Matt.
