Yoga is such a great way of bringing balance to the body, especially if you train in another sports:
- it creates flexibility in heavily-used muscles, increasing range of motion
- it builds strength across under-used areas, like core and upper-body
- it can help to prevent injury
- yoga breathing can improve focus and better breath coordination

This month I'll be practicing TWISTS, in my one-to-one and group classes (at www.mycc.org.uk)
Twisitng Yoga poses have many benefits:
- maintain spine and back muscle flexibility
- help reduce anxiety, as you twist the chest opens and this can release tension
- improve gut health and condition the muscles along the sides of the body
- help to reduce back pain
- increase mobility acrose the torso

Give yourself 5 minutes, grab a pile of cushions and blankets to support your head, limbs and joints, focus the mind on smooth longer breaths and restore yourself. Afterwards you'll feel ready to get back to it. 🙏
