It’s sad to see that some young lady I’ll call her a (little girl) for now and even some who call themselves charity workers, forget the most important rules of responsibility.
Charity work requires transparency. It requires accountability. Every naira spent, every decision made, should be open for inspection. That’s how credibility is built.
Now Verydarkblackman, she has given you a challenge...funds to renovate, but with the condition that she shows how she spends it, what she has done, and reports back. This is not punishment it’s responsibility. It’s a lesson in integrity.
What is deeply disappointing is seeing a young lady ignore the advice of her own mother, who is alive and speaking wisdom. A mother’s guidance is priceless, yet she chooses not to listen. Imagine if her mother were no longer around where would she get guidance? What path would she take?
To the young lady...you may feel like you are (reigning) now. People are applauding. Politicians may want to use you. But power is temporary. Respect is earned, not borrowed. If you misuse this moment, the very people you surround yourself with today will forget you tomorrow.
This is your chance to do good. Use the influence around you to highlight societal issues, to point out what needs to change, to bring positive impact. Do not let pride, insults, or carelessness make you a nuisance or destroy your legacy.
Behave. Be accountable. Back off from insults. Let integrity guide you. This is what will make you truly powerful, not applause or attention.
