Yesterday we said a heartfelt (but happy!) farewell to Julia, our wonderful receptionist and administrator, as she heads into a truly well-earned retirement 🎉

Julia has been such a valued part of the team — always welcoming, organised, and ready with a smile. She’ll be hugely missed by both colleagues and patients alike, but we’re so excited for this next chapter in her journey.

Last week, some of the Yorkshire Fertility team had the pleasure of visiting Care Fertility Leeds to attend their Information Evening for GPs and healthcare professionals, focusing on reproductive health.

It was a fantastic opportunity to connect, share insights, and continue strengthening the collaborative relationships that support the care we provide to our patients. Care Fertility Leeds is just one of the central units that we work alongside as a satellite fertility clinic, and events like these are a great way to stay aligned and informed.

Being overweight can affect fertility treatment success, and losing weight may help reduce risks for both you and your baby.
💊 NICE guidelines recommend that anyone with a BMI over 30 takes 5 mg of folic acid before conception and during the first trimester, your GP can help arrange this.
