Amanda, who was born & brought up in Bradford, is proud to say that she is friends with one of the ‘Bantams of the Opera Choir’ who sang at the ‘Sports Personality of the Year’ on Thursday evening..where they honoured all of the Sportspeople who have passed away recently - it was a really heartfelt accolade to those that we have loved & lost in the Sporting World 🤍

The Team at Amanda Dalby Funeral Services were sad to say a fond farewell to our Casual Bearer, Pete, at our Christmas Dinner, last week. After 9 and a half years of helping us out on hundreds of funerals, Pete has decided to hang his funeral suit up, and relax into his retirement. Best wishes Pete, from Amanda, Nick & Katie - and enjoy your Whiskey! 🥃

We had a lovely day at the Parlour, yesterday, as lots of friends & families came through our doors to make a Memorial Tag & place it on our REAL Christmas Tree, in memory of a loved one 🎄🤍
Lots of tea, coffee, mince pies & biscuits were consumed, and we raised £236 for Overgate Hospice too! ✨
Thank you to all who came & donated to Overgate 🙏

We are all trimmed up for Christmas at the Parlour - and we have a beautiful REAL Norwegian Spruce Christmas Tree 🌲 ready in the Greenwood Room, for our Annual Memotial Christmas Tree Day, this Thursday 11th December, 11am to 3pm.
Do come along for a cup of tea or coffee ☕️ a mince pie 🥧 or a chocolate biscuit 🍪 and make a Memorial Tag at our Crafting Station, in memory of your loved one 🤍✨🎄
Donations to Overgate Hospice would be appreciated on the day

Our Trainee Funeral Director, Nick Barker, was very happy to receive his British Institute of Funeral Directors Student Membership Certificate yesterday.
He’s currently working towards his Certificate Course in Funeral Service, which will then lead onto a Diploma in Funeral Service.
We wish Nick all the best in his studies 🖊️ 🎓
