A useful reminder about what isn't consent during this Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

In honor of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, here are some things to remember:

🚫 “No” means no.
🚫 “Stop” means no.
🚫 “I’m tired” means no.
🚫 “Not now” means no.
🚫 “I’m not sure” means no.
🚫 “I don’t know means no.
🚫 “I’m not ready” means no.

📍 Consent is not silence.
📍 Consent is not pressure.
📍 Consent is not “they didn’t say no.”
📍 Consent is not “they wanted it.”
📍 Consent is not a one-time question.
📍 Consent is not something you owe.

If it’s not a clear, honest ‘yes’, it’s not consent.

If you’ve experienced this: you’re not alone. We see you. We believe you. And it was never your fault. Remember that. 💛

Today is No Smoking Day 🚭

As previously announced we are thrilled to bring our annual Q***rfest celebration and fundraiser in association with the wonderful Darkland Brewery!

Debs Harkins, Calderdale Council's Director of Public Health is supporting National HIV Testing Week by getting a free, rapid, HIV test with us!

Anyone diagnosed with HIV in the UK can access free treatment and support.

Only a couple of days left for HIV testing week this year and as we head in to the weekend taking the time to realise just how far treatment has come is worthwhile, not only do we have extremely effective treatment for HIV but PrEP and PEP are also vital tools in reaching the Goal of no transmissions by 2030.
