Arch-Way Project is a charity set up for the purpose of increasing the health and well being of local communities especially those who have mental health issues. This includes those on the autistic spectrum, disaffected young people, adults with profound mental health issues and the elderly who are at risk from or are living with dementia. We use music, art, exercise and therapeutic beauty as vehicles to engage with these vulnerable people, teach new skills, build confidence and self-esteem and help people manage their mental health more effectively. We concentrate on empowering people who feel disaffected or live on the fringes of society, many of our service users feel marginalised and we work with them building confidence in order that they may feel more able to re-connect with society. We also provide entertainment for the local communities using local musicians and artists. The Arch-Way project is a community led organisation, our trustees are made up of members of the local communities.

Hello everyone 👋

Just a quick reminder about us starting the activities from 1:30pm 🧡

See you this afternoon!

⚠️ ATTENTION ⚠️

To combat people who live in residential care homes and assisted living housing having to leave at specific times with their support and care workers, we have made the decision to push things back by 30 minutes, so that they don’t miss out on the last spot of music and last game of bingo.

This means that the quiz will now start at 1:30pm, rather than 2pm, and the afternoon will finish at 3pm rather than 3:30pm. You are welcome to stay for refreshments until 3:30pm if you like, though 😊

Not only does it help everyone to enjoy the afternoon in its entirety, but it also means the musician we have performing can finish their set to a room full of people, as it should be 🥰

We hope this works for everyone, any problems, please contact Ebonnie on 01422 251613 📞

Hello again everyone 👋

Sharing again, please share with your friends, family and community to help us stay open!

Everything helps, even a share 🧡

Urgent funding needed. The Arch-Way Project has supported mental health and wellbeing in Halifax since 2012. Without new funding, we may close in May—leaving vulnerable, isolated people without a vital community lifeline.
