💙 Free Dementia Clinics return to Halifax

are back in Halifax, holding free, confidential clinic appointments with a specialist dementia nurse (known as an Admiral Nurse) at the branch in Halifax town centre. You don’t need to be a Nationwide customer – everyone is welcome.

📅 Clinic dates:
• 28 April
• 29 April
• 30 April

These appointments are a chance to speak with an expert, ask questions, and get advice or support around dementia in a safe and confidential setting.

To book, visit dementiauk.org/nationwide, scan the QR code on the poster, or speak to a member of staff in the branch.

If you can’t book online, text APPOINTMENT to 07478 724000 and someone will call you back to arrange a time.

Good morning Calderdale carers! Here's what's happening at Carers Count this week...

Join us this afternoon for our monthly WOW Group, where female carers come together to build confidence and boost their wellbeing.

📆 Thursday:

We're kicking off the day with our Sukoon Group, a peer support group for female carers from the South Asian community - and in the afternoon, we've got our Todmorden Peer Support Group, open to all carers.
