I'd just like to thank all of you at CO9 for the brilliant care that my mum received from you. With her physical and anxiety issues, she could be quite challenging to look after, but all the carers she had always reassured her, and improved her quality of life. You all did your best for her, and you were always flexible if she needed any extra care at very short notice. She would never have had any feeling of security without your help, and it certainly gave me peace of mind when I wasn't at home.

Our client loves his little fish and showing off his tank to all that visit, so it’s very important to him 🥰

Yes we provide care, personal care, companionship visits and so much more. But we also do odd jobs that our clients can no longer manage…

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home care Assistant to provide support within clients homes. The ideal candidate will assist with daily living activities, ensuring clients receive personalised care in a safe and respectful environment. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people's lives by delivering high-quality home care services.

Responsibilities

Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and mobility support
Support the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each client’s needs
Help with household chores including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment
Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Drive clients to appointments or social activities as required, ensuring safe transportation
Follow health and safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure environment for all
Requirements

Valid driving licence and experience driving safely in various conditions
Previous experience working in a care home or providing home care is desirable but not essential; training will be provided
Ability to understand and follow care plans accurately
Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes
Compassionate attitude with excellent organisational skills
Strong interpersonal skills to build trust and rapport with clients and their families
This role is ideal for individuals committed to delivering exceptional home care services, supporting independence, and enhancing quality of life for those in need.
