In this class, we’ll explore how to gather our energy before we expand. Building strength, stability and control first — then releasing into deeper, supported range.

This isn’t passive stretching.
It’s mindful movement.
Active mobility.

Strength of the Shoulder ✨
Part of our February theme: Strength with Softness

When we think of shoulder strength, we often think muscles.
But true, lasting strength begins deeper — with the bones of the shoulder girdle.

In this class, we explore how the bones of the shoulder create protective strength for the entire shoulder complex.
We build a neuromuscular connection, so your body learns how to support itself — rather than grip or brace.

This is strength that feels stable, not stiff.
Supportive, not forced.

A practice for anyone who wants to feel strong and spacious in their shoulders — on and off the mat.

✨ Restorative Yoga + Somatic Movement ✨

This class is about slowing right down.

Through gentle, deliberate somatic movement, we release habitual tension and reconnect to how the body actually feels — not how we think it should move. These small, mindful movements help calm the nervous system, soften tight areas (neck, shoulders, hips), and create a sense of ease and safety in the body.

We then settle into restorative yoga, where the body is fully supported by props so there’s nothing to hold, no effort to make, and nowhere to rush to.

🧘‍♀️ Props we use:
• Bolsters to support the spine
• Blankets for warmth and comfort
• Blocks to bring the ground closer
• Eye pillows to quiet the mind

This is a beautiful way to release the week, step out of “doing mode,” and ease gently into the weekend feeling grounded, spacious, and deeply rested.
