✨ Hey Frankie ✨
I thought I'd talk about one of my long-time favourite oils which is fab for meditation and spiritual connection:
Frankincense 🌿💛
The moment that ancient, earthy, resinous scent drifts through the air, everything softens.... the mind calms, the breath deepens… it’s like the world and its weight exhales with you.
🧠 Brain vibes:
Breathing in frankincense actually helps your brain shift from busy “thinking mode” (beta waves) into calmer alpha and theta waves, the ones linked to peace, focus, and meditation magic
🧘♀️How Frankie supports meditation:
😌 Emotionally
Quickly eases stress, softens heavy feelings, helps you let go
🤯 Mentally
Helps quieten the monkey-mind chatter so you can sink into presence
💪 Physically
Signals your nervous system to relax and heart rate steadies, muscles release, breath flows easier
🌙 Spiritually
Frankincense is double-ended ... it's grounding and it’s an energy-lifter, helping raise your vibration, opening your awareness to subtle energies, intuition, and higher guidance ✨
🪔 It’s been used in sacred rituals for thousands of years to create connection between earth and spirit, body and soul.
In meditation or healing sessions, it’s like a gentle bridge between grounding you while expanding your inner light. It can make you feel more aligned, more open, and deeply present in your own energy 💫
🌸 How to use it in your own practice:
Use few drops in an oil burner or diffuser before meditation or a healing session 🕯️
Dilute in a carrier oil and apply to pulse points or feet for grounding, or pop a drop in your hands, cup them over your nose and breathe in🙏
Have a personalised sniffy- stick made ... beautiful bespoke blends can be created for your individual needs 👃
I love starting my sessions with frankincense. It clears my energy field, opens my heart, and creates that sacred pause needed while deepening the meditation.
Oh, and I love the smell 💛
So next time you meditate, invite Frankie to join you. Let its aroma anchor you, lift your vibration, and help you sink deeper into your practice 🌿✨
Pop a comment if you use it or feel you'd like to📲
⚠️ A note on safety:
I use Boswellia carterii, which is generally safe, although, caution is needed during pregnancy (best avoided until the third trimester).
Other types of frankincense or blended oils can have different safety considerations, so as always, it's wise to check with a qualified aromatherapist to ensure they’re suitable for you.
With love & sparkles
