🌟 Halstead AgeWell Fair – Thursday, 9 April 🌟

Residents aged 50+ are invited to join us at the Halstead AgeWell Fair at Halstead Leisure Centre on Thursday 9 April - a free community event designed to help people stay healthy, active and connected later on in life.

Come along to meet local organisations, charities and health professionals offering advice on wellbeing, social activities, home safety, financial support, volunteering opportunities and so much more. This is a great chance to discover what’s available locally and speak to friendly teams who can help.

Carers and family members are welcome too, and it is completely free to attend!

A wonderful afternoon spent at Dementia UK Time for Cuppa event at Chelmsford Race Course we met Manny the retired race horse, lots of gorgeous dogs from Essex Therapy Dogs , won the bingo and enjoyed delicious tea and cakes 🫖🥮

We’re proud to share that our Customer Relations Manager, Kim Richardson, will be taking part in the Maldon Mud Race on 26th April 🏃‍♀️🌊

Kim will be getting well and truly muddy to raise money for a cause that is very close to all of our hearts – the Halstead Dementia Friendly Project, which has been chosen as the Mayor of Halstead’s Charity of the Year.

The project supports dementia-friendly activities in Halstead, helping those living with dementia and their families while raising awareness and reducing loneliness and isolation within the community.

We are incredibly proud to support this wonderful initiative and cheer Kim on as she takes on the mud for such an important cause!
