Filled with natural light and a quiet sense of calm, our studio space in the conservation district of Hamilton offers a beautiful, fully equipped haven for yoga, bodywork, sound healing, massage, community events and more...

Established in 2013 we have been fortunate to host some beautiful and brilliant classes, training courses, special events, parties, talks, and therapies- see pics above! 📷

We’re welcoming a small number of like-minded teachers and wellness practitioners to join our ongoing timetable or establish regular offerings within our community.

✨ What’s On in November at Prana Yoga Studio? ✨

As the light wanes and the air cools, we gather in rhythm with the turning season; to slow down, listen, and reconnect with what’s nourishing and sacred beneath the surface.

❄️2 Nov — Transition into Winter: Nourish & Nurture with Lynne Goudie (1.30-3.30pm)
Nature invites us to slow down and soften into stillness. This two-hour workshop blends gentle seasonal flow, restorative postures, meditation, breathwork and yoga nidra, with drinks and snacks included to help you replenish your inner reserves.

🍂7 Nov — Samhain: New & Old Rituals for Crossing the Threshold with Carla Webster, Geo ‘That Glasgow Witch’ & Jessica Kerr (6.30-9.30 pm)
Storytelling & magic, symbolic movement, entwined with soul stirring sounds. A celebration of endings and beginnings, community and ritual.

🌈 16 Nov — Dream the Rainbow: Late Autumn Yoga Nidra & Body-Clock Flow with Lucie Potter (2-4 pm)
Step into a lush workshop of two yoga nidras (drawing from Himalayan tradition and Wildsong Yoga Nidra) and a standing Qigong-style Body Clock Flow attuned to the elements and our circadian rhythm. Beginners welcome, with MP3 recordings gifted afterwards.

😴 28 Nov — November Nap Night with Catriona Jinks (7-8.30 pm)
As the days grow shorter and colder, settle into a cosy evening of Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra (guided yogic sleep) and a soothing sound bath with crystal bowls and chimes. Blankets, cushions, eye-pillows and underfloor heating included — just bring comfy layers. A treat for nervous systems and tired souls.

Whether you join us in person or online, each gathering is an opportunity to breathe, recalibrate, and remember your belonging to the rhythm of the earth.

Chair Yoga to Nurture Body & Mind 🌿

Staying active doesn’t have to mean breaking a sweat. For all of us, gentle, mindful movements—like those in chair yoga—can bring tremendous benefits for flexibility, balance, and peace of mind. 🪑✨

Chair yoga is a wonderful way to stretch and strengthen without standing. Movements are slow, steady, and supported—perfect for improving circulation, easing stiff joints, and calming the nervous system. Even a few minutes a day can improve posture, reduce stress, and boost your mood. Can be done at home 🪑 , at work 🪑 , in the office 🪑 at the airport 🪑, to be honest pretty much anywhere! 🪑💺🪑💺🪑💺🪑💺🪑🫶

Some simple chair yoga poses to try:
🧘‍♀️ Seated Cat-Cow Stretch – Eases back tension and helps with breathing.
🙌 Overhead Arm Reach – Opens the shoulders and improves circulation.
🌬️ Gentle Twist – Keeps the spine mobile and supports digestion.

Always move at your own pace and listen to your body. Mindful movement is not about doing more—it’s about doing what feels good for you and being consistent 😉💛

Here’s why Tree Pose (Vrikshasana) 🌳 is perfect to bring you back to center:

✨ Grounds your body + mind
✨ Improves balance + focus
✨ Strengthens legs + core
✨ Encourages calm, steady breathing
✨ Sets a steady tone for the rest of the week

This simple standing pose reminds you:
Even when life wobbles, you can root down and rise with grace. 🌳

Try it for just 1 minute — Plant your left foot. Find your breath. Root down. Rise up. Breathe in stillness. Switch sides and balance it out now with your right foot.

Stand tall like a Tree 🌳😌……Let your Monday begin with stability and grace. 🌿
