💚💙🌿 “Through the Winter Lens” – LAMH Winter Photo Challenge ❄️

Notice the season. Capture the calm.

As winter unfolds, we’re inviting staff, volunteers, and customers to take part in our gentle photo challenge — celebrating the beauty, quiet, and light of the season.

From frosty leaves and cosy corners to winter walks and little signs of hope, let’s take a mindful moment to look around and share what we notice.

Why:
Spending time noticing nature — even in small ways — can lift our mood, reduce stress, and help us feel more connected throughout the darker months.

How to Take Part:
📸 Take photos between December and February that reflect winter in any way you see it — nature, light, comfort, reflection, or community.
🌨️ All skill levels welcome — whether you use a smartphone or camera, it’s about what you notice, not technical skill.
🌲 Share your photos with us by:
• Emailing them to fundraising@lamh.org.uk
• Or tagging on social media with

• Frost & Footprints
• Winter Light
• Small Comforts
• Stillness
• New Beginnings

What We’ll Do:
💬 We’ll share a selection of photos on our social media and may highlight a few in-store during the season (depending on printing costs and space).
🖼️ Every photo is a reminder that beauty and calm can still be found in the coldest days.

💙💚 The LAMH Giving Tree is a community-focused initiative designed to help families and individuals in need during the holiday season. The giving tree displayed in LAMH’s chairty shop is adorned with tags that represent a donation amount. If you are unable to donate in the shop then you can donate using the QR code!

Through the Giving Tree, LAMH aims to spread joy, compassion, and a reminder that even small acts of kindness can have a big impact during the festive season 💚💙
