Walking Raffles, it still all seemed very grey and gloomy out there . . But then I heard the birds . . I stopped took breath, moved forward more slowly and started to look around me, to take in more, to register the changes.

The birds singing, so many different ones, it’s been a while. . #
Then I noticed the grass looks greener, fresher, more alive . .

So I looked more intently, with more focus and saw the buds starting to grow and life coming back into everything around me. . It lifted my heart and mind, my step had more spring in it as continued my walk with a sense of reassurance and renewed hope

Things can change, get better, brighter, lighter, we just need to hang on in there and find the right path to guide us there.
