Life has a way of getting busy, so I am posting this pic of my chair with a message from a client as a reminder that you could be on it if you are due or need a reset! There is no pressure at all but I would love to see you back on the chair or on it for the first time if the timing is right for you!

My goal is to provide a quiet, calm space where you are nestled in the middle of all my plants where your nervous system can finally drop its guard. It isn't about ‘luxury’; or it being a ‘treat’ it’s about providing the necessary time for systemic recovery and balance.

I have a few daytime slots currently available over this week and the beginning of next week if you’re noticing the physical and emotional impact of life—whether it’s postural tension, disrupted sleep, or nervous system overload—these slots are dedicated to restoring your equilibrium.

Message me to book your session. No obligation—just a reminder that your health maintenance is a priority.

Many of us these days live in a state of high-alert, where the physical demands of a busy work week manifest as tension, fatigue, or a sense of being constantly switched on.

Reflexology acts as a tool for systemic regulation and recovery. By working on specific reflex points, it can signal to the nervous system that it can shift from a state of stress into a state of recovery.

Clients often describe this as:
• A "Reset": Mentally stepping out of the noise of the day.
• Physical Release: Alleviating the tension stored in the body from postural strain.
• Restoration: Allowing the body to return to its natural equilibrium.

Whether you are navigating the physical strain of sedentary office work, recovering from illness, or managing the cumulative stress of life, Reflexology serves as a vital tool for nervous system regulation and physical recovery. My sessions are designed to be a dedicated, professional space for this process – I am here to help you return to a state of balance. Please feel free to message to enquire about current availability or with any questions.

M O N D A Y
I think perhaps we all feel abit like this this morning, or maybe I am projecting!

This week I shall be doing meditation daily - I try to most days but you know... Much like taking supplements, it falls off the ' I am capable of doing this list!'

Breathing, trying to find the right balance of engaging with what's going on in this crazy world and, well, and NOT doing that....

Drinking enough water

And believing that there are still good people in this world doing good things and being excellent humans.

Think about what you need this week, keep it simple.

Sleep wins!

Sleep problems may be the result of a number of issues and can be a complex combination - remembering that no two people are the same so each client may need a different combination of reflex areas.

By working different reflex areas people can experience relief from sleep issues by calming the nervous system, therefore lowering cortisol, inducing deep relaxation and allowing the body to perform its general housekeeping duties!

I am currently on GCSE revision duty so I am using the time to let you know a few Reflexology things, that if the algorithm tells me anything....no one will look at or read 😂 so I may or may not test you all later! If however, you are interested then you may like the below!

Our spine is the backbone of our health, our central support structure and has a profound effect on both our physical comfort and emotional well-being. Our spines health influences a wide range of systems in our body. It houses the spinal cord which is responsible for transmitting messages from the brain to the body, our mobility and flexibility, our energy flow and our postural support!

Therefore when it’s in balance, we feel more at ease, both in body and mind.

In reflexology the spine is located along the inner (medial) edge of each foot – from the side of the big toe (cervival spine/neck) down to the heel (sarum and coccyx area).

If this is of any interest to you here is the link to a study which was done on the effects of reflexology on chronic low back pain intensity in nurses employed in hospitals affiliated with Isfahan University of Medical Sciences.

https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/23833620/

FINDINGS: The results showed a significantly higher reduction in pain intensity scores in the reflexology group after the intervention as compared with the non-specific massage group.
CONCLUSIONS: Reflexology can be effective in reducing the severity of chronic back pain, i.e. it is able to reduce pain from moderate to mild. Thus, this technique is recommended to be performed by nurses as a complementary therapy in patient care.
