Feeling very proud!

How this term has flown. Our Tuesday Food School children graduated this week. They said they wanted to make omelette and eggy bread for their last session so we did. It was so amazing to sit and watch as they tucked in something they wouldn't have done at the start of the journey with us. πŸ₯³

One of our main objectives at Food School is to reduce anxiety around new foods. We want the children to feel comfortable around foods so we were over the moon when they all said they now feel happier about new food since coming to Food School.πŸ’ž

They also tried sweet potato fries, apple, and frozen strawberries. Such a brilliant end to this terms programme.πŸŽπŸ“

If you have a fussy/anxious eater we are now taking bookings for our September classes in Park Street, St Albans and Welwyn Garden City. We offer Saturday and after school classes which are suitable for 4-10 year olds.

πŸ“£Calling all parents of fussy and anxious eaters aged 2-4πŸ“£

As parents we know the importance of a varied diet for our children's health and wellbeing but what happens if your child has other ideas πŸ€”

Let us show you how to put the fun back into food and mealtimes for you and your child in our 6 week programme.

Each interactive session will be based around a theme and include stories, messy food play, and other activities to MAKE FOOD FUN! Our experienced Occupational Therapist will give you tips and tricks each week to practice at home.

Our next Mini Munchers 6 week programme begins at 10.45 on Tuesday 11 June at Nash Mills Hall, Hemel Hempstead. We still have limited availability so if you are interested send us a message to get further details and reserve your place.

We are giving away a family ticket (up to 2 adults and 2 children) to TOTfest. To win let us know which one food you would like your fussy eater to eat most, then follow and like us. The lucky winning family will be picked on Monday 20th May. Good Luck!
