Talking helps with depression, that was so clear on this courageous documentary by Roman Kemp. Even talking to a dog helped.

One benefit of talking out loud is that your own sub-conscious hears what you're going through and it can apply its powerful resources to help you in a time of crisis.

Counselling is the peak of the talking therapies, for a rapid intervention or 'shift' in your state hypnosis can be faster.

Talking to friends and family is the very best resource, I hope everyone gets to watch this documentary and commits to being open about their own struggles to become more approachable to others.

Please watch this important documentary. Have tissues handy, it certainly made me cry!

Ahead of his BBC Three documentary, Roman talks about dealing with his own mental health issues - and remembers his friend Joe Lyons.

Don't watch this of you're afraid of heights, get in touch with me instead to end your phobia.

It's nothing like this.

You remain in control of your relaxation while your unconscious mind pays attention. This is the part that keeps you safe so it will resist anything that isn't in your best interest.

Funny cartoon though and raises some interesting questions.

I'm always happy to chat if you have any questions or concerns about hypnotherapy.

How are you doing with the lockdown?

I'm doing online hypnotherapy, one to one, on zoom.

Anxious, stressed, intolerant of your partner, kids or lonely if you're on your own? Drinking, smoking or eating too much?

Hypnosis can unleash the power of your own unconscious to focus on the results and changes you want.

I offer this resource here to help anyone having a mini mental meltdown.

I'm giving 50% off the first three sessions and will include a free brain detox.

If you're interested in finding out more, post below and I'll set up a Facebook live to explain more about hypnosis and answer any questions you post now or during the Facebook live.

You've got a powerful mind to get through this and you could use this time to make and implement life-changing choices.

Get in touch by messaging me or call the number on my website if you want a confidential chat.

If you've not used zoom yet, I can help you get set up.

Best wishes Lance

Hypnosis really does change lives

This is all about you and the changes you might want to get your own powerful unconscious to help with. When we meet, you’ll share what you want to work on, change, stop or improve and we’ll focus our discussion on hypnosis around that.

In the meantime, I keep being amazed at how easily my clients make changes in hypnosis that they’ve been unable to do without focusing their own resources in this way.

Phobias seem impossible to stop. People with phobias can learn how to manage their fear, but they will still exhibit physical symptoms such as increased heart rate, flushing in the face and neck, tension, shortening of breath, sweaty palms and perspiration. Once you have a phobia you can’t stop the powerful survival drive to ‘fight-flight-freeze’ on your own, without some intervention from a good therapist.

Phobias are learnt in a split second, so they are best unlearnt rapidly too; when the right techniques are in capable hands it is amazing how quick and easily your own unconscious just turns off the ‘danger’ connection that seemed essential all those years ago.
