This client of is 71 years young and first came to the clinic when he developed Bell’s palsy (a neurological disorder that causes paralysis or weakness on one side of the face) and discovered that CACI is a well known treatment for it. ‘As a builder and an active man, having Bell’s palsy has affected him physically and mentally,’ explained salon owner Bernadette Smith. ‘Since having CACI (20 minutes twice a week), he has felt happier and more confident and it has helped him with pain and discomfort. We’ve worked on one side of the face so far, but when we start to see the face become symmetrical, we will work on both sides focusing on the jowl and eyebrows.’ Bernadette continues: ‘He’s had 5 sessions so far and plans to keep up weekly treatments until he feels well enough to swap to maintenance.’
